Price list Westphalian Online-Auction jumping foals

Münster: At the last Westphalian Online Foal Auction 12 foals predispositioned for jumping changed owners on Monday evening. With a knock down price of 25,000 Euros, the first foal, Eldar vom Breitenloh, advanced to the top price. On average, customers invested 8,625 Euros in their new Westphalians.

For the twelfth time this year the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. auctioned off foals in an online auction on Monday evening. The most sought-after offer was the Eldorado van de Zeshoek/Darco son, Eldar vom Breitenloh (breeder: Luc Poels, Rippershausen). For 25,000 Euros, the dark bay stallion changed hands this evening into the possession of an international jumping stable operator. Among the fillies, Cäcilia stood out especially. The direct daughter of the proven Cornet Obolensky was bred by Bernhard von Boehn out of a dam by Special Memories/T. - the last son of the Trakehner legend Abdullah/T. For the knock down price of 14,000 Euros, the dark bay filly found new owners in Canada.

The auction team of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. had selected 25 foals predispositioned for jumping for this last foal online auction of the year. 12 of them found a new owner for an average price of 8.625 Euros. "Unfortunately we could not achieve the desired prices for all breeders at this evening's auction. Not only the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch took the initiative this summer and switched the auction system to online. At this evening alone, four online foal auctions were held simultaneously throughout Europe," says auction and marketing manager Thomas Münch about the difficulties of the market at this time of year. "We have already sold a good 250 foals online this year, out of a total of about 300 offered. The average price of these sold foals was 8,900 Euros. We can be more than satisfied with this overall result. We will work through the results of today's auction and consider further strategies for the future".

The next Westphalian foal Auction will take place live for the first time this year. 13 selected young talents will be auctioned off during the German Amateur Championships on September 26th in Münster-Handorf. Online it continues with the collection of the 60th Westphalian Elite Auction for riding horses. The bid up of the nearly 50 riding horses starts on October 4 at 2 pm.
